What we do
A wobbly wheel affects braking, shifting, and ride quality. We true wheels on-site using a professional spoke key and tension meter, correcting lateral and radial run-out to get your wheel spinning straight again.
If you've broken a spoke, we can replace it — subject to matching the correct length and type. We carry common sizes but may need to order specialist spokes for unusual wheels.

Here's a real example of a wheel hub service from our workshop. The hub came in with corroded bearings and dried-out grease — causing roughness and play in the wheel. After stripping, cleaning, and re-greasing with fresh Finish Line premium grease, the hub spins smoothly again.

Spoke Replacement — £25

Cone Adjust — £12 per wheel
Adjust hub cone bearings for smooth wheel rotation and proper bearing preload.

Complete wheel build from scratch with new hub, spokes and rim to your specifications.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my wheel needs truing?
If you can see the wheel wobbling when you spin it, or if your brakes rub on one side, your wheel likely needs truing. Pothole impacts are a common cause.
Can a badly buckled wheel be saved?
Often yes. Minor to moderate buckles can usually be trued. If the rim is cracked or severely damaged, we'll let you know honestly and advise on replacement options.
Do you build wheels from scratch?
